Ingrid Cantrell joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2019. She received her Physician Assistant Master of Science in Medicine degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. Previously, Ingrid also received a Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Florida, where she focused on school asthma and allergy management programs. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Ingrid has over 10 years of experience as a physician assistant in allergy and asthma care but has had a passion for helping patients and their families understand these conditions for much longer. Before becoming a PA, she served as the Southeast Regional Program Director of the Allergy and Asthma Foundation of America (AAFA). Ingrid is bilingual and speaks fluent English and Spanish.
