Family Allergy and Asthma Research Institute Current Clinical Trials:   We are currently looking for both pediatric and adult volunteers for clinical trials involving asthma, seasonal allergy, COPD, and migraine headaches. If you would like to hear more about these trials or would like an opportunity to participate in one of them, please contact one of our staff. Pediatric Asthma Volunteers: Ages 5-12 with persistent asthma, who are currently on stable doses of asthma medication.  Study Length: Studies range in length from 12-16 weeks.  Purpose: Investigating new inhaled medications.  Contact: The Research Institute, at 502-368-0732 Adult Asthma Volunteers: Ages 12 and up with persistent asthma who are currently on stable doses of asthma medication. Non-smokers.  Study Length: Studies range in length from 12-16 weeks.  Purpose: Investigating new asthma medications and delivery devices.  Contact: The Research Institute at 502-368-0732 Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis Volunteers: Ages 12 and up with at least a 2-year history of seasonal allergies.  Study Length: Studies range in length from 4-6 weeks.  Purpose: Investigating new allergy medications.  Contact: The Research Institute, at 502-368-0732 Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Volunteers: Ages 40 and up with history of smoking or currently smoking.
