Not surprising — Louisville again ranked in the TOP 5 as WORST spring allergy cities! There is no place safe from allergies in America, and some cities are more problematic than others. Many allergy sufferers find relief during the winter months because the weather is cold enough to kill off allergies. This unusually warm winter season, however, has not given us that relief and many are already starting to suffer spring allergy symptoms. We are excited to announce the opening of a new office in Elizabethtown, KY! The office, located in Cool Springs Center, 2407 Ring Road, will open in early summer. Now that the Louisville area has surpassed the record for wettest year since 2004 (rain levels are currently at 64.60″ and counting) homeowners who suffer from allergies and asthma should take extra precautions if their homes flood. During a cleanup, indoor air quality in the home may appear to be the least of the problems; however, failure to remove contaminated materials and to reduce moisture and humidity can present serious long-term health risks. Standing water and wet materials quickly lead to, among other things, mold growth, to which many are allergic.
