Teresa Armbruster
Teresa, a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, joined Family Allergy and Asthma in March, 2010. Teresa earned her undergraduate nursing degree and BS in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University at Cape Girardeau, MO; her Master of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine University at Louisville, KY; and her Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Missouri at St. Louis, MO (1997). She has been board certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) since 1997.
Teresa began her nursing career as an RN at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. After receiving her MSN in 1993, she taught in the RN program at the former Paducah Community College, now known as West KY Community and Technical College. In 1997, she completed her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. Teresa has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics, Urgent Care in Occupational Medicine, and Allergy & Asthma prior to joining Family Allergy & Asthma.
Teresa is originally from Cape Girardeau, MO, but has resided in Paducah, KY since 1980 with her husband, Wayne. They have 2 adult children, Ashley and Justin, along with a son-in-law, Daniel.
