Susanna G. Field
Susanna is a native of Louisville, KY. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Louisville, where she graduated with honors and served as Vice President of her nursing class. After working in Kosair Children’s Hospital’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for five years, Susanna received her Master’s degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University, where she also completed her Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. As a lifelong sufferer of both allergies and chronic asthma, Susanna felt a strong desire to pursue a career in the allergy and asthma field. Having these diseases for more than 20 years has led to both a vast knowledge of the disease processes, as well as immense sympathy for patients and parents of patients with allergies and/or asthma. Susanna’s goal is to give optimal preventative and acute care by providing testing services, seeing follow up patients and acute care visits, while collaborating closely with physicians. She hopes to enhance the overall quality of life for patients suffering with chronic allergies and asthma in a caring and efficient manner. Susanna lives in the Fern Creek area with her husband and daughter.
